Our Mission - Building Character Through Sports & Games:
At CDZ Camp, we focus on fostering physical fitness while promoting personal growth in areas such as character, sportsmanship, integrity, perseverance, and teamwork. Each day, we offer engaging activities, challenges, and lessons that reinforce these core values.
By the end of the week, our goal is for every camper to understand what it means to be a leader, a reliable teammate, how to set meaningful goals, and how to take the steps needed to achieve them. We want all children to recognize their own strength, worth, and potential to achieve their dreams through hard work and determination.
Our dedicated staff is carefully selected, and they put their heart and soul into ensuring your child has an unforgettable experience!
What Makes Our Camp Exceptional?
This is not just a "recess" style camp. Our days are highly structured with thoughtfully designed lesson plans, incorporating activities that achieve specific goals. Expect an energized, outdoor Physical Education class vibe!
Ages 6-13: Our camp is tailored to provide developmentally appropriate competitions for kids within this age range.
Expert Staff: The Camp Director and Coaches are licensed educators with years of experience in both teaching and coaching.
Inclusive Activities: Our diverse activities are designed to highlight each camper’s unique strengths—whether physical, intellectual, or both—ensuring everyone contributes meaningfully to their team.
Variety of Experiences: Unlike other camps that focus on one activity, we offer a wide range of games, field trips, and experiences that foster character development, confidence, and valuable life lessons.
Outdoor Fun: While this is not a sports camp, campers will enjoy a variety of physical activities outdoors, so be prepared for lots of fun in the summer sun!

Frequently Asked Questions:
Why choose CDZ Athletics over other camps?
Our coaches are licensed teachers with years of experience both in the classroom and on the field. We are passionate about what we do and aim to provide a fun, positive, and life-changing experience for every child! The true joy in sports comes from simply playing. We want to hear laughter, excitement, and teach kids that mistakes are part of the learning process. No one’s going pro tomorrow—today is about enjoying the moment, appreciating your abilities, and making the most of the opportunities in front of you.
Won’t the older kids dominate the games, given the age range (6-13)?
To ensure fair competition, teams are divided into two divisions based on age and skill level. While older kids will lead and mentor the younger ones, all campers have a chance to earn points for their team. The format rotates teams on and off the field to ensure everyone is involved. Older campers will learn leadership skills, while younger campers gain confidence from their older peers. Points are also awarded for exemplary character and sportsmanship, adding to the team's total at the end of each day. The point system accumulates over the week, promoting teamwork and positive values.
Can siblings receive a discount?
Unfortunately, we do not offer sibling discounts. Since many of our expenses (field trips, t-shirts, awards, insurance, etc.) are per camper, we’ve set our prices as low as possible to remain affordable for families.
Do I need to register for every week?
While you are able to register weekly, you are more than welcome to sign up for as many weeks as you’d like. Many parents choose multiple weeks because CDZ Camps offer more fun and educational activities than other childcare options—at a comparable price!
Do activities change each week?
Yes! While the basic structure of the camp remains the same, each week features a mix of recurring and new activities. We have a large selection of games, so every week offers something fresh. Because the teams and participants change each week, even familiar games take on a new dynamic, providing fresh teachable moments.
What games and sports will be involved?
We focus on a variety of team-building games and activities that level the playing field and allow every camper to shine, whether through physical or mental strengths. Some of the activities include:
Galaxy Ball
Capture the Critter
Dodgeball
Cardio Kickball
Mission Impossible
Talent Show
And many more exciting challenges that engage all ages and skill levels!
These games are designed to be inclusive and fun for every participant, allowing for skill development, teamwork, and plenty of opportunities to showcase strengths.
Where will I receive updates?
We will send out e-mail updates. Please be sure to check your spam or junk folder for updates sent from cdzathletics@gmail.com.
